i do 2 days 7:00 - 19:00 then 2 days 19:00 - 7:00 then 4 off!
i work at a brewery so the last thing i want 2 do when i get home is a to even look at a bottle off beer!!!! lol

My shift pattern's a bit different, but I like it 
Week
1. 0700-1500, Mon - Fri
2. 2300-0700, Mon - Fri
3. 1500-2300, Mon - Fri + 0700-1900 Sat & Sun
4. Week off
The next time week 3 comes round I do 1900-0700 Sat & Sun. Been doing it for +7 yrs, still fit as a fiddle!
Never really drunk after night shift, but ocasionally sink a beer or two after evening shift's, as it's the only time I sometimes struggle to get to sleep.

yeah i get a week of per month on rota.
neighbours still look at me gone out when im cleaning the scoob at 07:00 when iv just finished work...

I start back on days on monday also, just done to weeks of nights, start at 16:30 finish at 02:30 ish somtimes later, and on days we start at 07:45 finsh at 16:30, we finish'd at middnight last night, took me ages to get to sleep though.
We do 2 weeks of nights and 2 weeks of days, get weekends off thats about it, although you can put leave in which we get 30 days a year,
Im a painter and finisher in the RAF so we get tret like poo
