Afghanistan is a place which is so dangerous that I think our troops should not be there without the proper support and the correct equipment that they need so desperately. This sorry govermment should be ashamed of sending them there under these conditions. They should be withdrawn until they are properly equipped. They won't even tell us of the enormous number of casualties and hide them in different hospitals so we don't realise the tragic things that are happeninmg there.
I don't see how we can morally leave Iraq since we attacked them in the first place-illegally, and destroyed their country and its infrastructure as well as killing many thousands of civilians. They are now in a bloody civil war without any end in sight. This is the fault of the Billy/American Prat combo who had no idea of what they were starting or how to deal with it.
We are now left with the legacy of having to try to stop this civil war. We cannot in all honesty desert them now.

For a Westerner in a Middle Eastern country i'd say that was pretty civilised.
What are you expecting? Fistycuffs and Queensbury Rules??
We need to get the **** out of a part of the world we have nothing to do with, other than trying to ensure their oil doesn't stop flowing.
