a sensible answer i'm afraid

the siphon cap in the conditioner drawer is blocked. take drawer out (may need a 'sharp' pull..) - there will be a plastic cap/cover in the conditioner compartment, removed this and clean (also clean the compartment and the tube which sticks up) - and off u go............................!

Yep just had a look and found it. Stuck a cotton bud down it and it was blocked.

Much appreciated

My suggestion is put some of your partner's whites in a coloured wash and also mistakenly chuck their lycra sports gear in the dryer to shrink. You'll then never be allowed to use the washing machine again and all these 'problem' posts will be a thing of the past. It worked for me!
