i have a MY06StiJDM just in the interest of Science

Straight line it would be very very close probably winning 3 out of 6 maybe 4-2 in Subaru's favour but on the Track the EVO's handling is outstanding and maybe 3-3 maybe 4-2 in Evo's favour.

But whatever all the above Car are nice

IMHO

see your thread on the mlr, not recieved well, cannot understand what they get so tight for, i am sure the spec c is very good around the track, what i have read beat the evo 9 gt around the nuremberg ring, still prefer the evo but the spec c is the best scooby

Mine's a modded STi, but doesn't fit into the categories

I hope this would come off, would be very interesting and probably a lot of surprises.

I don't think that is an entirely fair comment! - They are as proud and protective of their brand as we are of ours.

I have one of the more highly tuned JDM Twin scrolls in the UK and I have driven a 340 and found it to be much easier to get the power down halfway round the corners. (Ideally, you want to be flat down on the 'loud pedal' as you are exiting!).That little extra ECU, that controls the diff makes a real difference - and mine has more power and torque than a 360.

I have owned 2 JDM Scoobies and no EVO's. But, I have been go karting on a MLR day with them and they treated me no different to anyone else there.

Plus the JDM.

So now we're after a standard STi, WRX PPP, TSL333 and possibly a WR1

Any more takers?

Surely a magazine would also be interested in this run?

Has there been no response from the MLR crowd? Surely they would like to prove we only have a nice sounding car and that's it (baiting)

Surely most of these cars (scoobs), will have aftermarket brakes and suspension too, so that wont be a fair comparison will it?

That's why we'll have to try ones which just match the spec, no brakes, ARB etc.

But, TBH, no-one else seems interested.

I thought it was a good idea anyway. Just for pure interest...

I would come along (first meet!) just to be in awe of the machinery on show.

Rally slags at their best. (Plus the banter )

There must be the 'above' cars with willing owners somewhere.

Guess it would have to be, as some drivers have more ability (..and bowlocks)

Maybe 5th gear would be interested?! Actually showing something that people would want to watch and learn something from.
