Rare as rocking horse poo for a genuine unmolested UK one though, and much more potent than its sucessor, the RX8. ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Most have been "fast and furified" and ruined, like many a Impreza, shame.

more piccies of the crash...
this is the first car the Mazda hit (John says its a Toyota Avensis)
![](http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/John_and_Gail/Granny%20Crash%205th%20Oct/crash22.jpg)
The Avensis was pushed into the Corolla behind it
![](http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/John_and_Gail/Granny%20Crash%205th%20Oct/crash24.jpg)
The Mazda then spun round and the back of it hit the side of the Corolla

![](http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/John_and_Gail/Granny%20Crash%205th%20Oct/crash14.jpg)
The force of the first impact pushed the Corolla into the 56 plate Astra behind it hard enough to push the Astra up onto the kerb
![](http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/John_and_Gail/Granny%20Crash%205th%20Oct/crash19.jpg)
the Mazda spun again with the front of it coming to rest in the side of our Granny

Every one of them I ever saw as a kid was that colour, so with luck you shouldn't even have to shell out on getting them sprayed

I am no expert in crash accidents but modern cars are designed to absorb impacts, But to trash 4 cars at 30mph, think about it, there is no way the energy is translated through that amount of cars,
p.s. I thought the granada stood up well to the imapact, suffice to say where the developlment? (I know it was the last car to be hit!)
p.p.s. I know what it feels like to have a classic damaged, it was obviously well looked after.

we have now sold the Granada - to someone with spares who can fix it... she lives to fight another day and hopefully take out a few more Mazdas!!
as we only lost about £20 we're not gonna bother with insurance as we know the Granny would have been written off.
