The Quraan is interpreted according to the Sunnah (as I have mentioned above) so verses are not down to any individual interpretation that happens and you get the likes of 'Al- Muhajiroon' 'Hizbullaah' 'Hamas' Zarkawi and Bin Laabin so we certainly do not want 'self interpretation!

As I am concerned no...the Quraan was revealed by Our Lord and so was the Sunnah that is the meaning and explanation of the Quraan and the other details of Islaam. You may believe it is fables but I do not we will just have to see one day. I respect you for being as straight up with me as I am trying to be with you. I wish you could speak to my wife maybe getting her angle on it would be much better but she will come out with some lame excuse normally shyness. She does speak to people about the covering and Islaam like when the health visitor comes and asks her about different issues (like Islaam and Pakisatni culture and why they have become so mixed...sorry I digress)

Hi Aaquill, you seem to be reasoned and intelligent but EVEN you suggest in one of your posts that people should be destroyed. I thought this was against the concepts of your religon, and as such my lack of understanding in this area is one of the reasons that I/we are becoming increasingly worried about our safety in this country.
I cannot conceive of the depth of feeling that would allow innocents to be caught up in this stramash(Scottish word) but as a minority figure from a country which was invaded and then ruled (is ruled) by a foreign country I am willing to voice my discontent but would never suggest anyone dies for my beliefs.

Everyone who comes across something threatening in their lives will either want it removed or will want to put up barriers to protect themselves from it. The current climate in the world today and the 'self inflicted' bad image of Islaam we cannot escape. Jilbaab and Niqaab is a intimidating and threatening image to people as is the beard and the thobe so you must address the people with regards these issues in a nice manner. Muslims are killing people, writing nasty slogans, doing violent protest marches at the drop of a hat and killing British soldiers what do you want me to say. You throwing insults does not help either just calm down man.

While I agree that the circumstances will have an affect on someones opionion I can say that no circumstances would allow me to attain the view that someone should die for their actions, removed from society/punished in some way or another Yes.
We all make mistakes (my own included) and others have made allowances for me.
NO one has to die.

Thats fair enough if you hold that opinion but some people cannot be allowed to be punished by prison allowed to come out and do exactly the same again. Where the death penalty is correctly established for rape and murder crime is virtually nil. A mistake is a mistake but cold blooded murder (with intent I mean) and rape then that is slightly different to you and I making mistakes.

If there wasn't any religion in the first place then none of this would be happening, and wars and global death since mankind probably wouldn't have happened.
I can understand worshiping religion centuries ago, as there wasn't anything else to do really. In this day and age, some countries are poverty stricken and lead lives that are far less comfortable than ours, so religion is a big part of everyday life, leading them to believe that things will get better, but it never has and never will.
I can't understand why people in the 21st century wish to dedicate their lives to religion, its all a load of bollocks anyway. Not one person has any evident fact that any god exists or ever has existed, and not ONE person in any religion has EVER seen their all almighty, conquering god and proven it to the rest of the world with actual fact.
All it has ever done is cause war and death, and will continue to do so and will probably end mankind in my opinion.
No god exists people, never has and never will, and no person of any religion could ever possibly prove it, and all their answer will be is that " its faith "
