When ordering my new scoob (way back in '98!) I was dismayed to learn that the UK had no yellow on the colour list.

I used to drive a bright yellow TR7V8 and found it useful to be seen in peoples' mirrors when "pressing on".

So I ordered Reddish-Blue, waited and waited then the MY99 came out and I changed my order to Dark Blue Mica with full colour coding.

Gorgeous! (Apart from the fact that the tw*ts hadn't done the colour coding when I arrived to pick it up - A simple visual check against the invoice, I ask you!??!).

So Yellow or Blue, erm - Yes please!

Talking of oldies like me and the old cars - I used to see off all the firenzas that the world threw at me - that Capri 3 litre was WICKED man!! what a sound too!!
A big white Granada 3 litre soon followed equiped with police siren!! (1977)!! my mates and I wore those cheap peaked holiday captains hats - coppas in all but real life!! headlights on full - what a traffic jam beater.....everyone moved out the way - onto the pavement and central reservation!!! what a naughty 18 year old!! ha ha ha what fun!!!!!! even went so far as to pull cars over that I didnt like the look of - then shot off after they had stopped!!! drove them all nuts!!

Thanks lads, for your (un)biased comments!

Obviously I'm going to have to settle this debate once and for all, and my decision is final...

The ****** colour wins.

And no serious comments next time.
