Personally I find the full rally graphics to much, I think they would look nice with just the logos on the sides and the on the boot.

Saw this at Jap show but refused to take a picture of it. So robbed the pic from someone that did:

You could have voted for the mong speak 'deze is sick yuz all haytaz' option if you wanted.

There is no implication on my part that owners of stickered up cars look tw@ttish.

Got a feeling that if I was 18 I might have a few! I'm the wrong side of 60 now so don't feel the need for such embelishments, besides, I can see the thoughts of many people - what's an old bast*** like him, doing driving a car like that? For certain, you will eventually grow out of the need for the kind of attention that an over-stickered Subaru brings.

A simple question that perhaps someone can answer.

Why do a disproportionate number of Subaru owners(compared to other marques)seem to feel the need to cover their cars in stickers?

What's the attraction?
Lets see your perfect example then?

My perfect example of what? If you mean an Impreza I haven't owned one for about 4 years since they brought out the entirely useless fugly bugeye.

If you want an idea of what my car looks like here's an example, sadly it's about to go as I'm bored with it.

I don't see why anyone would sticker up anything other than a model car, something used for advertising purposes or a pukka race/rally car.

What I'm trying to understand here is why a grown man would cover his car in pathetic looking decals and pay money to be a laughing stock. Mostly they seem to be fat old balding guys, could it be an attempt to recapture their long lost youth?

..................but the question is why would you have them? Do you think they make the car look good? Confer some kind of Kudos? Make people think it's a real rally car? To pretend you're a rally driver or somehow emulate your heroes?

As to my next car I'd like a 996 Turbo but they still haven't dropped in price enough yet. Probably just a stop gap car in the 10-15K bracket. Maybe a XJR or going in the opposite direction a 968CS

So would a large deer head/antlers attached to the front of it. Calling them 'graphics' doesn't mitigate either.

Are you a grown man? Over 20? If so and you want to be less of a laughing stock then remove the stickers. Happy being an subject of derision? Leave them on.

What would you rather do vapid, buy a nice looking car at top whack, spend a fortune on a big assed bodykit? for it to look good in your eyes and ****e in another persons?

It's a two way argument, as Tidgy said before "one owners hell is another owners heaven"

Would you look at an Audi S6 and deem it ****e, over a RS6 which has the bodykit, extra badges - I think not

Couple of things. In our car club we have both stickered up and non stickers, the opinion is strange, most of the people who have them are thinking of taking them off and some who dont have them are thinking of puting them on
There is no age related opinions there as one of our older members has a full "rally slag" kitted out in every sticker available and our youngest member has a stunning orig. classic with no mods just as it left the factory(nice).

Vapid, I like the Porsche ideas but think you would be very dissapointed in the Jag. But then I am Biased(Stuttgards finest).

Maybe they are attention seekers?
Similar to joining a forum and posting non-stop **** just to get noticed.
