Jacksdad if you can mate that would be helpful.

If this is a known problem. WHy don't Subaru ever do a recall other than it's costing them money? In my case I understand that it's a older car (my01) so you will get ware and tear however. Whats the point in giving a warranty if "known" faulty parts are not replaced? Seems harsh to me?

Just seems odd that even WRX owners are now having these issues. Just think the cabin will get even louder with the cold weather coming up.

After reading this thread and clearing out all the junk from the car just in case. I booked her in to the dealership last week cos the knocking was getting on my ****. MY06 8 months old 12k.

Just mentioned knocking from rear nearside. They wanted the car for the day but I knew it would be a diagnostic and a wait for parts to be ordered in. So I waited - I don't think they like that but seemed to get me seen quickly.

Parts ordered and new shocks to be fitted next week.

Anyone know if there is a subaru upgraded part or will the warranty be changing my shocks every 10K?
