I can only echo what RLE has posted here
How can your employer not be bothered by staff productivity levels, after all it's the staff which form the main elements of running a company, in whatever that company may do
It amazes me, that you (Vapid) working for an oil company, gain your wealth from high taxes on their product & secondly from the lack of work they are getting from you
If you were in fact head hunted, i think the volume (or lack of) would clearly show, and they would be aware that you are in fact, a time waster, thus a prime candidate for the dole
I can only guess that one of your "projects" is to study or participate in the amount of mindless bollocks which appear on the internet

This post and a few others just go to show what a low level you people operate on and how little you know about the workings of the corporate machine.
I know people who work for this company who are in an almost constant state of drunkeness and earn high 6 figure salaries. Their productivity level is almost nothing. I also know people who got their wives/mistresses highly paid jobs despite them being too stupid to even bang two rocks together.
As it happens I'm one of the most productive members of the whole department, thus why I'm left alone to do whatever I want as long as I produce results.
It's good to be the king.

I have worked in all area’s of company analysis for the past 8 years
Resourcing, Budgets, Performance, Statistics etc.
It is a common fact that all companies rely on all the above data in its daily running,
So, I put my point forward, if you were head hunted for a specific skill or quality, they would be monitoring this, or should be
Watch out Vapid – Your *** could be on the chopping block

The chances of me working for you in whatever grubby little business you do is minimal.
I'm not your 'mate' either and neither do I wish to be.

Answering the original post, everyone at some point during their day speeds.
It can be by 1 mph or vastly more. The fact that the original poster bothered to check his speed to me, shows he was trying to be responsibile.
The various posts about Plod hidining in Bushes etc etc, then the replies that, you shouldn't speed etc etc have been done to death.
ONE simple question, would we all feel so hard done to if............ we could see Plod putting as much visible effort into>>> Drug Dealers>>Burglars>>Muggers>>>Dangerous Drivers>>>Illegal Asylum Seekers>>>Shoplifters>>>Peodifiles>>>ETC ETC??
Honest answers please???
Thanks

The motorist is a criminal on wheels, didn't you know that?
Its only a matter of time before a motorist falls foul of the traffic plods and gets points on their licence. I know grannys who have more points than i do. They have Micras and i have a LCR 225.

I don't see how anyone can bitch about the way the law is enforced until they are at least competent behind the wheel, that includes knowing what you should be doing before you take the decision that you know better.

Vapid, breaking the speed limit outside built up areas can be just as irresponsible as anywhere else. Speaking from my experiences of being on the scene of 2 fatal accidents right outside my home which is to the side of a 60 limit road, the results don't look any better for the fact that a higher limit applies.
In my view, there is a time and a place which is determined by a large dollop of common sense. The road conditions, location and risk to third parties and yourself (and indirectly dependants if you end up dead) help to make some excess speed less irresponsible - if that makes sense??
You criticising the original poster for lack of knowledge of the highway code and traffic regulations when you seem more than happy to flout them outside a built up area is f*cking hilarious.....
I'm not saying that I am never guilty of slight bending of the rules but at least I don't go round taking the p*ss of others.

My criticism of the original poster is that he is sadly unaware of the rules of the road, despite having a driving licence. Surely that cannot be correct?
Can you also point out where I said I'm happy to flout rules outside a built up area?

No worries Vapid, not specifically targeting you or implying anything seriously.....
Too many threads which seem to promote excess speed outside of towns...
Too many parts of cars still littering the verge over the road...
In many ways I think the best thing anyone can do to learn good driving skills which will give great improvments to observation and understanding of risks is spend some time on a bike, theres nothing like being so vulnerable to keep you on your toes.
