Mk1 T25 engine ran forged pistons. API had involvement in the building of it I believe.

I'm hoping to see more than 320/330 then, next time mine is in for a service. That's all it made on a warm(ish) June day

Mine ran 347bhp 500Nm on PS rollers back in May, and 335bhp 515Nm at PTS in August, if that helps. It's loosened up a fair bit since then.

Martin,

Mine should be pretty loose - it's got 18,000 miles on it at the moment.

Have you thought about modding it a bit. Iain has told me on a couple of occasions that they have a bigger turbo which was developed for the T25 before they settled upon our one. I'm sure that one day I going to go for this option (after warranty runs out), as the engine internals can take a whole lot more power than current.
Having said all that, as you know, these cars in standard trim are still stunningly fast, I guess it's just the new T25 that makes me want to upgrade it.

My first target is to get the 350/356 it's supposed to have. I currently don't have a warranty to worry about, so I guess a few mods could be on the cards .

I went and test drove a 350Z, but for £16-17k I had to spend, I couldnt find the right car for me and most where rough imports, so I bought a mint Focus RS with not many miles on the clock and which has a few performance mods done to it, so it goes pretty well(when its dry, bloody FWD)

Well Andy F did say I didn't need a 3 port solenoid but as I was fitting AVCR boost controller - be as well fitting the 3 port. Also some say don't need uprated fuel pump some say yes so changed it to be on the safe side.
Got 289bhp before the mods.
