maybe some coppers are alright, but most of them are "bullied"at school type.Known of some coppers to lie about an incident but it was lucky that said incident had been caugh on cctv, luckily or someone could have been in trouble , .But again don't envy their job.

I think the cop needs to be cut a little slack. KGT you said you watched him for another half hour after you were pulled over and watched him continue to pull over the 'bus car park loiterer club'. I'd bet he's been out there for a while before that dealing with their, maybe, less than exemplary attitudes. I'm not saying his answer to your queries were correct however I would say you were probably in the right spot at the wrong time

too right tiller, and he's probably out there for a while yet.
The road is well known for general car related arsing about, there's been a few deaths on that stretch since I moved to Bish about 6 yrs ago.
Ive come down the bypass towards town late at night only to have 3 cars side by side horsing it round the bottom bend heading right at me.
But Ive also done several jobs dealing with the public and Ive had some serious grief, including physical violence, but I dont treat eveyone the same way. I was just disappointed.
Like you said maybe he's been dealing with ******** all night and just went on autopilot. Maybe I'll blast up there later on and take them a hot flask of something.

I've been stopped 3 times - all early morning (5am) on the way to work.
Everytime I just said 'Morning Officer' as he approached, and they were always (reasonably) polite, saying that because of the high performance car and the time they were just checking it wasn't stolen.
Saying that you do need to be careful - two of those occasions a car quickly closed on me and drove very close and I had no idea what it was until the lights came on.....
Quick name/address check and I was on my way. As much as I hate speed cameras and the apparent targeting of motorists I do actually like to see an actual police presence on our streets and I have no problem being stopped occasionally (why would I? I'm legal?) Better they look for proper criminals than just rely on cameras.
