Although this is a valid topic, and i am with blowdog on this 100% , maybe it would be better closing this.. before friendships start to get uneasy, and it gets heated and turns into an MRT thread.
I.e with what Jjones just said - was that really called for? I don't think so. I don't know if you 2 know each other or were having a joke but to an outsider it looked a little offensive.

DavidG, Gymkana is actually a genuine event, can't remeber what the specifics are but its similar to an autotest. And indeed the regs are listed in the Blue Book

 

Gymkanha.. We have them here in the States, except it's called AutoX..

Basically driving through a course of cones against the clock. It's actually the biggest participatory motor sport in the USA. Many Thousands compete every week all of the country and actually Subarus are starting to do quite well at a state level

Going back to the original question, I had no problems with P1 WR. He made me laugh and I quite enjoyed reading his posts - even if it was just to see what everyone else was sying to him, and wondering what he'd come up with next.

IMO we need people like that on the BBS - nothing wrong with some comic relief. Hopefully he will reply to Simon's email request and then can return to the fold...

 

I think we should make him a moderator.

 

And give him his own 'P1 WR' forum?
