what is the point of a strut brace??

I fitted a strut brace to the front and rear of my Wagon. The Wagon as no rear strength like the saloons, no bulk head as such, so is a bit wobbly.
Because of the dog and the fact I use it to move stuff I had to make some quick release bolts.
Takes seconds to remove and refit.
But, the knurled nuts have plastic inserts so not recommended for the engine bay!!!!!

Nice! I was thinking of doing the rear of my wagon, but like you I do load the back end up a lot and would find it a bit of a pain. Where did you get those cammed bolts? They look similar to what you use on mountain bike quick release seatposts etc?
