Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde and my Impreza
#32
Time for an update. In spring this year, I decided to finish the suspension upgrades with AST sportline coilovers, R180 conversion and polyflex bushes. It was finished in July, and the following month I could explore the changes at a track day:
Stage6 · Impreza WRX at track day. CSM Vaaler 2007*-*Video and Download*·*hmhaga
I was very happy to realize that the rear end of the car felt much more planted and easier to control. It is very "tail happy", but the sinister tendency to snap oversteer and spin out of control is gone - it now communicates to me the intentions of its next move
Now that I'm happy with the handling and Mr. Hyde is on "indefinite leave" (I hope), I can also start focusing on engine upgrades

Wrecked...again
Was waiting for another car in a roundabout when I was rammed by a car from behind. Took 3 weeks to organize repairs, and now I'm reciveing reports from friends that the employees at the garage are playing Petter Solberg with it (revving it like mad with a cold engine etc)
