This happened to me about 10 years ago, but without the blowing nose incident. Got up in the middle of the night, went for a pee and then woke up on the bathroom floor 
I think the peeing has something to do with it aswell as it changes the body temperature.
Didnt think too much about it and it hasnt happened again.

There are a few nasty bugs/ viral infections doing the rounds - I've had one for 10days now
It might just be as simple as that Micky, or the stress you have been under has manifested itself this way to tell your body to slow down and de-stress a bit - either way get your self checked to be on the safe side!!
