I can just imagine him wearing a big green Kermit the frog suit as he types at his keyboard

Oh well I suppose it's entertainment at its lowest form for all reading/submitting to his question, otherwise we wouldn't have bothered would we!?!!

If we are not very good enthusiasts, why on earth do you think we are qualified to answer your questions.

Secondly...
A couple of people on this thread have (dispite being irritated by your attitude) genuinely attempted to answer your questions. But you are rude enough to completely ignore them and DEMAND further answers.

Your questions about characteristics, etc shows a distinct lack of understanding of the questions you are asking, so I see no way that you are going to get the answers you want.

I have driven all of the cars you mention in a countless situations, under, on and above the limit. I will genuinely try to help you if stop being so rude and answer the following questions...

1) Why has P1 WR not answered my emails or questions?
2) How do you feel you can judge us as being less enthusiastic about subaru's than P1 WR when you have so little knowledge of us.
3) Why (this is a genuine question) do you, and P1 WR ask this type of question?
3.1) What are you trying to gain?
3.2) Why is it important?
3.3) Why do you not want to make your own choices like the rest of us?

Here is an honest serious answer to your question, this is really what I think, I am not joking.

notr for other users :- belief that all these people are one and the same suspended for duration of post.


Nobody can tell you, the cars are so similar in performance terms that which one your friend chooses has to be personal choice. He will be happy with either, but the only way to tell is to DRIVE each one and see which one he prefers. No other way to tell. The question does not have an answer.

I'm gonna be blunt.

I've only been on this BBS for a short period of time and I had very high opionions and a high degree of respect of all and their opinions.

HOWEVER, recently a minority have; in my opinion taken away some of this sites professional approach when it comes to asking for advice.

I've always asked (again in my opinion) sensible questions and have had a great deal of respect for those who have responded.

The question is should that minority which bring about annoyance, and bring "muppety" values to this BBS be allowed to continue.

At first the "muppety" threads were amusing, but now to be honest they're loosing their attraction.

Don't worry I'll get my own coat....

Totally agree with Blackscooby. Although I'm an RSOC man myself, it is nice to read aritcles and views on all marques.

Why wasn't this thread elevated to Muppet standard along time ago, as it is quite clear that the ledgend that is P1 WR is behind it.

IMPREZAIST was posting every few minutes up until the point that I put those questions to him and asked for a bit back, then nothing for 45 minutes!!

This is what happened on the P1 threads. He was hounding constantly, then stopped as soon as I posted a question. Then just started another thread.

The mandatory fields thing is no real use because you could put anything in there.

You chauvinist english guys don't seem to like foreigners aboard your bbs... Lot's of times it's the pittyfull alien that gets called a mupped. These friendly turkish folks only have to ask there questions somewhat more often because the answers are not easy to understand for someone who learned his english from topgear and teletubbies. Hey, i know. (and i've got a dictionary. (don't use it that often though ))

Admittedly some individuals have immediately jumped on these people. But there have been a number of people that have tried to help in the past, only to be ignored or told they were wrong, etc.. I think the issue is the way these people have asked questions and when asked to introduce themselves, they've just gone silent.. makes people suspicious.. Plus they as repeat the same type of question over and over, and at the end of the day the answer is its down to 'personal preference'.. But they dont seem to like this answer.. my 2 cents worth anyhow..

As SDB and Blowdog know, I also Emailed P1 WR off BBS with a number of questions. He totally ignored me also. As someone that normally cannot keep his mouth shut for 2 seconds I can only imagine he is either
1) Rude
2) Got something to hide
3) But definitely not worth the bother.

I'm not bothered by him but it is a shame he winds so many people up on this BBS. I know I have a banter with Sunilp et al but that is harmless fun and if I thought they were offended I would not do it.

BTW, I bought my third gun while I was out today, so if we do find him.....

 

 

Allow me to lower the tone further:

An old geezer in an old people's home takes a fancy to a woman who is also staying there. One day he plucks up the courage to go and talk to her and after a while he says he would like to make love to her.

She agrees and when everybody else goes on a day trip they both stay behind at the home. The old man goes to the woman's room and asks her how she likes to be made love to. She tells him that she loves a man to go down on her and asks him he would mind. He says he would love to do that for her and goes for it.

After about 30 secs he comes back up and says that he is sorry but it just smells too bad down there. She thinks for a minute and tells him that it must be the arthritis. He looks and her confused and states that surely you can't get arthritis down there and even if you could it wouldn't cause that smell.
