If at some point it becomes 'unaxed' then great, I hope it does, but for the foreseeable future the programme has been, and remains, axed by the BBC.
I read elsewhere that Hamster is on course for a 100% recovery. So, why not a 100% reinstatement of Top Gear by the BBC as well then, given that his injuries were the 'excuse' they used to axe the programme in the first place? They could, for example show some 'best ofs' in the Sunday evening slots that were originally scheduled for the new series as a gesture of goodwill toward the TG team and fans of the show who have had the new series taken from them.

cheer up Uncle and post some other better funny stuff, instead of defending a corner. I presume you are a fan of top gear and so would love to see it return and by the tone of your posts, you are just playing devils advocate.

Richard was said to be livid that telly chiefs postponed the next series of Top Gear, which was due to start earlier this month.
There were even fears it could be axed. But after pressure from Richard, his fellow hosts and the show’s fans, the BBC confirmed it would return once Hammond had recovered.
