Garrett,

They will valve, and spring it any way you want.

You certainly wouldn't want my set up for street driving....... I wouldn't want my set up on the street

If you ask for it to be set up very compliant for fast street/road, that's what you'll get, like wise if you want it set up for track competition.

Don't forget their pedigree is rally, so they know how to get a car down a bumpy track in one piece, and that's not on bone crunching track suspension.

I would just like to point out that in no way is Phil Keen a profesional race driver. He currently has full time employment as a car mechanic for TVR and draws no income whatsoever from his driving exploits. He is however a very talented driver who was more than capable of completing his outlap without spinning off into the gravel trap!

Thanks for that Rich!

Although Phil doesn't support himself entirely from his racing career, maybe that's only because there isn't the money in racing to replace his regular job. Like so many other talented drivers he has to fit it

For anyone that hasn't seen it, you should check out the Phil's website, in paticular the videos of him in a variety of cars.

Keen Motorsport - Home

Of course it wouldn't be complete without a very good car, which Powerstation have built.

I have the exe-tc fitted to my WR1 this was done by RCM,the ride quality is much improved and the car feels more precise, the car also has RCMs fast road geometry set up,these guys know their stuff as they do the suspension for the citreon rally team and they looked after the subaru rally team up to 2002-2003,so if you are looking for some good suspension go for exe-tc.
If you go to wr1oc.co.uk go to scooby chat and look for exe-tc suspension, you can see pics of the car and how it sits .

Bucko, those look the Fast Road Adjustables correct? How would you say they compare to stock in terms of comfort when they are adjusted on the softest setting?

cheers

I'd be interested to know this too just investigating these for potential purchase.

I called and spoke with Graham Gleeson, the owner of exe-tc. I'm dead set on picking up a set now. First the fact that I spoke with the owner of the company says much about the company and how in touch with the customer he is. Second he, very humbly, went to great lengths to explain everything to me on his testing, design and how his forward thinking is ahead of the competition. His designs make sense, and IMO fill holes that other companies have missed. Third they seem to be all about bringing the knowledge to their customers. Now I just wish the duties andcurrency rates were in my favor.

cheers

Sorry for the late reply, the exe-tc is very comfortable,I have mine on the middle setting and the ride is very nice, yet the handling feels better,I hear that exe-tc is going back to subaru,so that is good also, its approx £1900 fitted and set-up,but remember you will have your old suspension to sell so that will off-set things by £300-£500,and it looks a good buy now d'ont you think,it has a 40 point ajustment but being an old guy I have not played around with the setting much yet,I'll leave that to Matt and Olly.
But as the other guys have said the after sales side is very good, the exe-tc people know their stuff, and Graham even said to me that he would have the suspension back if I was'nt happy with it,and if ZEN and RCM are happy with it,it must be ok.
Go and treat yourselves for christmas, you deserve it.Happy Christmas to you all.

Indeed. They sound like good people. You should at least play with the damper ***** tho! Easy enough to set back and won't screw your alignment ("geometry", thats what you call it right? )

That would be cool to see subaru pick them up again. They def seem to have a good system down. I know Prodrive is using their coilovers on the Rally GT they are developing with Aston. They must be doing something right.

cheers
