Not sure as yet, Andy needs to sit down and work out a few things but as soon as I find out I'll let you know.

Wow what a difference

A couple of scabby pics for starters, it's been like the tropics out there, I'll do a proper shoot when I've cleaned the car next

The car now sits evenly when you brake instead of the nose going down hard... and does it ever stop I need a dry day to test them out properly though

A massive thanks to Andy and Rhys for sorting this one out, top marks for a top conversion

The quality of these brackets look fantastic, is there any news from ACE motorsports as to when they will be available for purchase?. I'm also after a set of OEM rear discs does anyone know of a pair in new condition?.

Give Andy a call as he is putting something together as we speak, the brackets are all there ready they are very high quality and the finish to them is spot on.
When you say OEM I assume you mean Brembo like on mine now ?

How's the re-build coming on John you have been quite of late ?

I'm pleased your happy with the results, I'll be contacting Andy as soon as I've managed to buy some Brembo discs. The rebuild is taking a bit longer than originally planned as I decided to respray the entire engine bay and ran into a few problems with fitting the new gearbox due to a nut snapping within the chassis so had to cut a section floor out and weld a new plate. But looking towards being back on the road by August.

Good god John who would have thought a nut would cause such troubles

Your getting there that's the main thing, it's a big old job especially when you look into the detail like spraying the engine bay etc. August will soon come around and I'm looking forward to seeing the results here for sure... was it a 2.2 build in the end this time ?

To say I happy with my brakes is an understatment for sure

Cheers Dean, I've emailed the seller with regards to packing items for collection. How much would you guess the weight of 4 discs would be?.

I've stayed with the 2.5L but using STI V3 cylinder heads instead so should rev slightly better.

You have to be looking in the region of 20 kgs for all 4 and it could be maybe slightly more.

A moddified 2.5 build should be interesting
