Thanks again. I'm feeling a bit cold about the car. I don't seem to have an emotional attachment to it. Perhaps I was already preparing to move on, who knows.

Sorry to hear about the car, any news yet mate, I'm gutted for you, they dont give a damn this age, MY02 WRX wagon is tracked, cat 1 alarm and a steering lock, I suppose if they want it that bad they will get it not matter what they got to do. Ba*t@rds. Hope everything works out for you.

your wife(and you) has got the spot on attitude towards the ordeal bubba. don't let some arsehole spoil ownership of anything, hope you find a good replacement

I'm in a New Ford Focus Ghia at the mo. It's rather nice apart from the over-assisted brakes and steering, and the centre console that interferes with the handbrake, and the poxy indicator sound.

Mazda 3 version of the focus is a nicer car to be in too
Imagine how I feel when I say a classic scoob has over -assisted brakes and steering.
