Borat is a funny film, but nothing special, just a load of his skits repeated

so far everything I have said in this thread are quotes from the borat film. Maybe rids some confusion?

Everyone finds Borat funny.... except the victims. Imagine that in a scoobynet context.

Cool

Saw it last night and thought it was one of the funniest films I had ever seen. Superb **** take of the Yanks and all the bigotted people in the world.

Some genuine toilet humour and good slapstick. The fight between Borat and his producer was cringingly fantastic.

Cohen is a master at making the people look like the fools they already are.

Plenty of it is obviously set pieces, but some of the interviews he does on the unsuspecting are masterful.

I too saw it last night, extremely funny with cringeworthy and weirdness all added to it. The American Christian Church WTF

The fight with his manager was extremely funny, especially his remark about his moustache a bit later.

Anyone else thinks his sister was pretty sexy No ? just me then

I feared taking a mouthful of drink incase i covered the row in front of me.

FIlm was ok but I am worried that JM sees Borat as a role model.

Saw it last night and I like, but a bit disapointed by the amount of footage released to Youtube, I felt I'd seen 90% of the film.

Saw Borat this afternoon and felt a little bit disappointed after all the write-ups. I've watched every Borat TV segment that's been on the last couple years and was really looking forward to it. I guess I did smile through most of the film and it did have half a dozen laugh out loud sections but it just wasn't as good as I was expecting. I was surprised that none of the interview/set peices lasted that long - but given what he was saying/asking it probably wasn't surprising.

Still looking forward to the future Bruno film though.

Wrong!..wrong!..wrong!...its just so! wrong!, you have to laugh at it!, I don't think there was a single person in the cinema that didn't laugh out load at some point...I love going to see films like that, in fact I enjoyed it so much I watched it twice.

If you don't find him funny then you've got to respect the guys bottle, that bit in the rodeo was verging on suicidal!...I don't even want to think about the bit in the hotel, that was just plain wrong!

very funny film...the fight scene is quite disturbing..

did anyone else think the black censorship block over borat's wedding tackle looked a bit small?
