Chris, they're by far and away the most pi**ed up piggies this side og the Met's Xmas doooo.
The eyeballs are supposed to be horizontally level!!!
Nice turnout today for this, though it was disappointing that some of the kids were too ill to come out for a chat I'm sure the few that did thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Thanks to the kind folk at the hospice for the tea, coffee and biscuits too
I'm thinking Squire's on a Saturday afternoon could become a regular thing (Especially when we get a club mortgage to buy the gaff)

Spoke to Debbie and briefed her on the day...
First thing is to say a big thanks to Debbie for organising and planning the day and a big thanks to my good lady for getting the pressies... It was a shame you missed the day luv..
After a few problems getting started with two cars breaking down before we'd set off and getting every one together at the right place, we finally set off... It was quite a sight to see the Reindeer named convoy heading out.. the points, stares and smiling faces I saw on the way out through Cas and up to the Hospice made all the earlier issues fade away..
I also explained that it wasn't quite as expected when we arrived as a lot of the kids were quite poorly and so we couldn't go and give them their pressies.. Those that could come out couldn't stay long. We also had some issues where the people we'd bought for weren't there, so had to re-jig the pressies for those who were..
But the carers were stars and were most grateful to the small donations we'd made and said that a lot of the kids would be over the moon, with some pressies and all the selection boxes going to new kids coming in for some respite over the coming weeks leading up to Xmas.
One of the kids who was well enough to walk about was little Ryan. He was full of questions and JB & Bri gave him a sit in their cars and revved the engines a touch to cheer the little guy up....
After waving goodbye, we headed for squires for a well earned coffee and pastie. Scott and POB managed to get lost behind Jim and Aileen who were heading straight home.. Only Scott could pull that one off
Sticky was a sore looser again.. as Dave Carter beat him twice by a thousandth of a second on Sega Rally... JB stepped up and wiped the smile of Dave's face with a beginners luck effort.. I think Dave was a little too relaxed and gave JB an easy run...
So....
All in all I think it was a successful trip with many kids lives going to be made that little bit happier from the generosity of time and money from us... So, well done to everybody who contributed their time and money to make a small difference to some really disadvantaged kids.
Don't forget this months meet is on Thursday 21st... I'll post a month meet thread soon..
