would look better with a black grille, and maybe a spec c type carbon spoiler.

Good to see Subaru/Prodrive acknowledging Richard Burns and with only 320 units it gives some exclusiveity to owners, with smaller numbers than the P1 (1000) RB5 (444) and WR1 (500).

says something for his achievements that he had two special editions named after him in such a short time.

Just spoke to the dealer in here in Cardiff and I can confirm they have an Impreza RB 320 to show in the flesh on Sunday between 5 and 8PM

They kept this quiet!

I expect a few will end up in storage.

What happened to the RB5 that Burns owned?

I'm sure he was diagnosed of cancer at 32 and died at the age of 34

I like the look of the car though. I'll admit I don't like the new car at all but that looks good

Why do subaru feel that they have to release a new model virtually every year? its no wonder the bottom has fell out of the selling market

I'd still have the RB320 though

I have a Jap T20 but have always advocated the "UK" Car with PPP and to be honest, will always do so

Sorry IMHO, my T20 is far better but....... the UK Car will suit far more peeps than the JDM Sti etc.

Sadly a slight missing on IM's behalf

The RB320 should been like a RB5's, a light weight version

I really wish IM(Subaru UK) had used a Spec C, UK'd (soften) and added spec as above would have been awesome and certainly would have considered it over the T20

IMHO

Tony

BTW. not beeing cynical but the new model lanched at the Geneva Motor show, Ok only the WRX and Duel TBh fuel Jobby, but STi will out in Oct 2007

Power to wieght is the be all, and end all

Very nice (nice web site too)....

IMHO Subaru should not be cashing in on the RB name, even though this I know is what we asked for. I know they are selling it as a loss (well less than they would normally), but it would have been nice to have seen something going to the charity...or have I missed something.

Awesome looking car though...

So, did the momentum of the Scoobynet RB idea bear fruit? Or was it already in the pipeline, and 'leaked' on here a while back to see what the reaction would be?

Mark

OK, just re-read, there will be a raffle, though it would have been nice for the owners to have known they were contributing, would make it all the more special..

Wink Missing the point...

...Mark...you have indeed missed the point...Subaru have donated Car No.1, and this is going to be given away in a special raffle by Autosport magazine....the proceeds will go to the Richard Burns Foundation ... so I'd say that was quite a big charitable donation

...EDITED....just spotted Marks response having hit the enter button
