Had a quick blast with a Leon Cupra R in my Evo 7 which was about 330bhp at the time, We where both sitting at the lights and I was day dreaming, He burned off, leaving me at the lights, Until I realised the lights had turned green and decided to catch up, trouble was I couldnt gain any ground on him. Must have been modded Cupra R as he left me a little embarrased that he did me at the lights and I couldnt catch him rolling either..

I owned an STIV, bob rawl mapped to 300bhp, for 2 years. My cousin had a cupra type R revo'd to 270 and I must admit it was significantly quicker than my STI and the Brembos on the Type R were tons better than the AP four pots fitted to my STI.
Interesting things!

agreed. the Seat is a 'humble' motor, but can suprise the hell out of a lot of cars out there.. even its little brother the Ibiza , is a scary little beastie in the Cupra guise
