A remapped LCR will do most standard Scoobs, but there are plenty of standard ones it won't...
WR1
STI PPP (Be close on a roll though)
Spec C
Type 25
STI Type R
STI Type RA
P1..
Plus god knows how many modded ones out there too...
But doesn't stop me having a go with them..
They will do 0-100 in just under 14 secs, which isn't to shabby for a FWD motor.. Mine's done a 14.0 @ a nat's c**k under 100 mph terminal at Pod (which is slightly uphill)..
Here's a couple of vids of mine on the move..

That'll be James then at a guess..
Mine's just got Revo stage 1, other than that standard.. James' has Stage 2, FMIC, Full Zorst, Race cat, TIP, CAI, Header (I think), Downpipe, Coilovers, shortshifter and a few other bits that I can't remember off hand.. But it certainly rips, that's for sure..
But for the extra cost it would be for all them mods, to make it 0.2 of a second and a couple of mph faster, i'm not that arsed at min..
Plus LCR's are suprisingly easy to get of the line (in the dry, wet forget it) at Pod, if driven right.. Mine did a 2.1 60ft on one of my runs.. Never managed that in the CTR..

What you guys are stating is pretty obvious really and nothing new. Its just physics. I really cannot see what all the fuss is about.
A Subaru is 4wd which benefits it with good grip for standing starts and corners, but a similar power 2wd car will overpower it when already rolling as it has less drag between the engine and the wheels.
People like Subarus and EVOs because they ARE 4WD and they can drive them in a rapid manner is not influenced dramatically by the weather or a bad road surface.
10 Years ago the same argument was happening between 2wd and 4wd Cosworth owners.

How's that then mate? Off the line, maybe, but nowhere else IMO. A Remapped LCR will stick with Most sub 300 brake Evo's once on the move.. Proven!

FFS, even certain Ibiza's can keep stride with Scoobs.. a Mapped Leon could send it snivelling home to mummy with its tail between its legs

I used to slay scoobs, I just let them go on there way thinking they drive a fast car. I dont even take a second look they are now so far down the food chain why bother. If people want one they should buy it because they like its looks like the new RB car looks very nice. But if you want brutal speed rather than hot hatch power leave well alone unless it has some very good mods.

Hello
My IHI'd ibiza is currently in retirement. And now only makes a once a week trip around the block if its dry. Its slaying days are over as there are no Scoobs locally which are capable of challenging it. 0-60mph 5.2secs 0-100mph 10.5secs and a proven Brunters vmax of 162mph on the ineffcient chargecooler and 1.35bar bar. Now running 1.5bar jabbas massive fmic and water/meth water injection. I may unleash its new spec in the New Year once completed. But to be honest I do the mods now to keep myself happy rather than slaughter the local slowbaru's. I believe its last run on the rollers resulted in 301bhp 300lbsft at the wheels
