Deserved to die?
Easy to say behind the keyboard.
Not sure one would agree if it were your own kin.... whatever the circumstance. Typical scoobynet replies.

If it was a 20yr 911 she would have stalled it pulling off the drive and her left leg would be too weedy to press the clutch back in.

We don't know the drink drive limit where the accident happened or if you do please tell us.
She may have had one drink (unlikely I admit) and be classed as a drink driver yet thousands of people could do the same in this country perfectly legally.
My point is you're very quick to judge and dismiss a young womans life. I just think a bit more respect is due.

I'm with Dazza on this one. She was drunk, and she was driving an unfamiliar 'stolen' car, at twice the posted speed limit.
She was also attempting to undertake the other car, which means she was on the hard shoulder, which looks to me on the photograph to be covered in dust & gravel. A harsh punishment maybe, but not to be unexpected really, at least she didn't take anyone else with her.

What is there to say:
- Terrible waste. Condolences to the family who must be devestated. It was a VERY stupid thing to have done - we all did silly things when we were 18, but not this wreckless and irresponsible. Glad no-one else was hurt by her stupidity. None-the-less, I'm sure we'd have all preferred it had she not paid for this with her life!!

Don't give a monkeys how wrong she was. She didn't deserve to die and she didn't deserve the photos of what was left of her head being plastered over the net.
Being hypocritical (sp) I know because I went looking for them and I've felt guilty about it ever since.
I'm sorry for all involved and sorry for having looked for the photos.

Can't help but wonder what the outcome would have been had it been a hard top..! Clearly the fact it was a cabriolet didn't help...

It's quite shocking they they are quite literally spread over the net...just type 911 and toll booth into google and your confronted with threads exactly like this, same arguments, same outlandish opinions etc etc. The main host of the pics has been pulled either through legal obligation or from just too much bandwidth being leeched of them by hot linking the pics.
In the end, we are all mortal, something I keep telling people I know who wear horsey hats when blasting round like loons on mopeds, equally there are pics of the consequences, which are equally as distrubing. I say the same to the FWBs in their power ranger suits - they may have the gear but they still have no idea and I'll also include any self acclaimed driving god who treats a public road as a racetrack whenever it suits them, you know who you are. The fact you are drunk or not is only part of the issue as the end result is the same. Just in this case no innocent parties were taken out with her, which isn't saying much but in taking to account the circumstances it could easily have been otherwise.
The recompense to all this is that it gives out two strong messages; Don't drink and drive. And also don't drive like a idiot - even if you are sober.
