You sad man
All women are beautiful, it's just some are more beautiful than others
DJ Vinyl Ritchie........... As Marjorie Dawes would say, 'if you feel peckish, have a bit of dust.' That will keep the weight off ladies.

get those big pants / corset thingies - I think you can get them in M&S. Saw them on Trinny and Susannah a month ago-ish and they appear to pull you totally in - reduced a woman's dress size down!
Bit of a downsize is that they look a HUGE passion killer so if you're intending to go on the pull they might not be such a good idea!!!

Buggar, I missed an insult
FYI I'm 9st 5lbs and a size 10 dress - I've posted a picture on SN before and several people can verify that I am not overweight. I was asking out of interest and for any personal experience - not asking for internet weirdo geeks like STI wanna SUbaru for empty compliments/insults, for I've purchased a rather fine dress over t'internet (so didn't get to try it on first) and found that certains parts of said dress are a little snug hence the thread
'Fat' birds as you have so lovingly called them have feelings too you know - at least they can do something about their wieght should they wish, STI wanna Subaru is stuck with his small *****

my wife did the 'Lighter Life' and lost something like a stone in 3 weeks. She looks seriously amazing. Being a big boned bloke its lucky for me I earn big bucks.
search the web , you have to go see your Doctor and he checks you or something. Also up your water intake, say 3 litres a day.
Dont let this lot get you down, half of them still live at home with 'mommy' and want a subaru.

I also know someone who's just about finished the 100 day thing on Lighter Life....it still doesn't make sense to me to do it. Exercise and changing eating habits is surely better than 500 cals per day on pretty horrible flavour shakes (the muffins you can make out of the food pack didn't look that appetising either) and what will happen as soon as anyone starts to eat again........? I'm not having a go, I'm genuinely interested into why people do this!

I have used these before, always before a big event, and think it's definitely worth it, not so much for the inches you may lose (though it's definitely reasonable to assume you'll lose at least a few, albeit for a very short time!!) but because they just make you feel great, my skin absolutely glows after them, and for me I've always gone with friends and had the full works - massage, manicure, facial etc - so all part of the pampering before the big do!

another way to lose a bit of weight is cut out bread and rice for the week as they retain water. the gym aint a quick fix i go 3 times a week for 2 hours at a time but if you wanted to keep it off you could try it also the steam room makes you sweat it out one bloke recons he can lose 2 stone a week by going in the steam room for 10 mins 3 times a week not tried it yet though
