Now ive just about stopped laughing (due to the explosion of power) the results are.....

Corrected power 329.4 BHP
Engine power 336.4 BHP
Torque 410.3 NM (dont know what this in lb/ft)

I am very pleased with the figures and more importantly the way it goes.
Pick up in each gear is awesome now, whereas before the map things was a bit mundane. Not good for my whiplash.

For bragging purposes im not sure which is the correct bhp, but either way im in the 300 club now.

Excellent job done by Rich, thanks Powerstation

302 ft/lbs is not bad what ever way you look at it.
I thought I would convert it for you.

Well if you insist

360.8 bhp
434.3 Nm
Car goes like stink. 1st gear is just a blurr infact I'm a bit worried that it might do some damage So I dont give too many rev's.
The exhaust sounds mint. not too much drone inside as yet but I expect it to
get louder.

Why has it taken so long to get to this point!

I think SN has lost a lot of the respect it had gained by allowing people like this to pretty much bully other users!

Off topic of my remap but.......

He certainly doesnt "bully"me. He has however on several occasions, including this one, posted absolute rubbish in response to some of my posts and to be perfectly honest i find it entertaining. I do not take ANY of his posts serious and hope others dont(they obviously do). If anything, his posts can generate mors interest in a subject/thread which can create "proper" replies.

lol, yes sorry about that. Good post though!

I just dont have time to read arguments, especially not ones that i would more commonly associate with kids, especially from a man who claims to be one of the older, wiser and more mature people on here!
He doesnt bully me, but i do think his attitude will put off a lot of people from using the board, in a similar way that a bully relies on fear!

Probably true.

Mangel

I took it out last night and it scared a couple of my passengers, which hasnt happened before. I was almost fighting with the steering wheel to keep it straight under hard acceleration( not unlike torque steer) in a 4 wheel drive . Its great, whats next..............?

Yes they are standard and tbh not good, but they never have felt good to me? I am not a big brake user, if you know what i mean, but i could do with some new, more capable pads. The discs are fine but the pads are low, so i am on the look-out for new uprated ones. Any suggestions?

Been following your progress Bob and thought I'd chip in after a similar experience to you back in january
Story here: https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...ml#post5329379
I've not long ago installed a set of ebc redstuffs all round on mine, and brakes are improved over the standard pads that were in. Lasted no problems round the ring anyway, and like yourself, I'm not much of a breaker
My next mods are "me" learning to drive better. IAM test has been passed, training as an observer now, and doing skid car training in january (space available via the smacs if you want to come along) then further driver training next year hopefully at Millbrook proving grounds.
I'm of the mind that I've got a very fast car at 350/343, but not the skill or knowledge to drive it anywhere near its limits.

You know, it would be nice to read through a thread like this and not have it spoilt by people having to justify to tossers like PS Lewis what they've had done to the car. Please just ignore the troll. I for one am sick of his constant boring comments, spouting the same old ****e about not needing to modify this that or the other. Not interested and as Mangel so neatly puts it, we'd be ooze if we didn't modify and tweak
Mods, ban lewis and all like him, log thier ip's and ban all usernames from that ip address, its about time we got rid of morons like this and got control of this board back.

I do recall reading your thread quite a while ago and feeling a little envious. (I was in a bugeye wrx then)

I will be pricing up pads and seriously consider ebc as ive had them before. No doubt before too long i will be looking at some suspension mods also. Prodrive springs first i think as i like em low. Oh! and a front lip spoiler....it doesnt end does it

I do believe that I have rattled a few ***** - stand up cw42

If you cannot accept anothers opinions then GET OFF THE INTERNET!!

My OPINION is that you make the vehicle unreliable if you modify it - that was my stance yesterday - that is my stance today and it will my stance tomorrow!

It is my duty to warn new readers that their engines may well melt if they play around with them ...... you lot cream yourselves over dyno graphs all you like - thats your pleasure

Back to you girls

Better still bob why dont you come along to the smacs meet on the 7th december and have a chat and look at all the smacs cars which are probably some of the best in the country both modded and standard cars.
