I really hope Bob is enjoying his car ..... my original post was just stating the obvious, that re-mapping is money for old rope.

I have YET to see an explaination as to why it should cost as much as it does - it is not hard, like swapping a gearbox is, say.

It's **** easy and a sure fire way to make your Impreza endowed with the attributes of a TVR, Allegro and Alfa ........... UNRELIABILITY!

Control panel (User CP)

In the left column at the bottom there is an option (buddy / ignore list)
Open that up and type pslewis in the right hand pane and click "update ignore lists"

Voila.

I did it four or five posts ago so have no idea what he's said since.

AWWW bless mr lewis... he has now visited my past posts, and threads, and red dotted them, lol, If he has any kind of car, he needs to trade it in along with his pension, most of us are now having to fund, and get himself a life....

Mr Pslewis in my opinion your Scoobynets biggest bugger ring.....

For anybody that is actually interested in the original post rather than "taking the bait" everytime without fail ........................

After reading cw42 link i decided to get up early this morning 9.30 and take the car over the Snake pass.

The roads were dry and it was fairly quiet, perfect
Most of the driving was done in 4th and 5th with me having to drop down to 3rd very occasionally for sharp bends. The pull now in these higher gears is awesome and makes overtaking a breeze and a pleasure. I think the pad upgrade is going to be a requirement now......the suspension well thats just being particular, but its on my list.

P.S Lewis- you know you want a remap but perhaps your pension has been reserved for your winter heating bill this year. We could organise a whip round for ya

For changing some data in a map??

Ah, well, whatever you want to do with your money ....... imagine how that would help some families in Africa?? Would give them years of improved quality of life, fresh water, food ...

Us in the west have so much to answer for .............

I agree with you about us in the west, as for the original thread tho, The fella, works, and deserves to spend his cash on whatever he wants.....! The advice some gave as to his initial question, was all he was seeking..! I guess me having xmas lunch with you is out then?
