Miele is good, no question, the bearings have just collapsed in our Creda machine at home. I immediately thought - buy a Miele, however £500 for an entry level machine, £750 - £900 for ones with a decent spin speed and a few extras. Could by three cheaper machines for that price. Are they really worth that much more. Also planning to move soon so could end up somewhere with integrated jobbies (hope not as they're a pain when they break!), so don't want to spend £800 and then not need it in six months.

Pissy - Why recommend a machine, when you've got one and it has a fault
