On the subject of Jimi Hendrix and Dylan covers, I remember seeing him doing "Like a Rolling Stone" and being knocked out by it. Think it was on a BBC2 programme around 1982 showing archive footage of never released Hendrix, but could be totally wrong.

I think Bjork's version of Gloomy Sunday is the best I've heard, quite like her version of It's Oh So Quiet too.

Any cover by Reel Big Fish!

Especially Hungry Like The Wolf (Duran Duran) and It's The End Of The World As We Know It (REM). Never heard anyone sing so fast as on the latter!
