So I think the colour is one of the worst Subaru has ever used.
And you paid over the odds for a car with THAT colour and a piece of tacky mesh from Halfords, and now your upset because it's worth little more than a Blue STI with Gold wheels.

Mmmmmmm, white with anthracite wheels did you buy it for your girlfreind?
And why not get a UK model? same reason you didnt get a WR1
Worth "little more" than an standard blue sti!! PMSL!!! Your as close as possible to a standard Blue Sti ,but lets ne honest -a standard blue sti is worth more than your Girly white JDM-JOB DONE-CLOSE THE DOOR-I WILL LEAVE YOUR COAT-OUTSIDE-
WR1's rock!!! so do the owners - dont try and muppet with 1 of the "MUPPET SHOW"

OK, the white WRX ra is actually my track day car, and the anthracite wheels are a set of the WR1 17" originals with the RE70's. It also has a set of Silver alloys and 2 sets of Golds - all with different tyre combinations.
And it's my JDM STi that's the road car.
The reason I didn't buy a UK model - poor value for money, and a WR1 is even worse value. Simple FACT.
My old dad does like the colour of the WR1 though.
He had a Mark 2 Escort back in the 70's that was the exact same colour.
It was a police car.
God I wish I could find a picture just now. I'm off for a search . See Ya.

I looked at WR1's a couple of months ago, and decided they were over priced, i didnt see what you got for all that extra cash,, Nice colour,,ok 320bhp wow big deal,, There was plenty on auto trader last time i looked asking daft money 20k plus and i noticed the same cars on there from months ago
but still a nice motor
and what the f""k is all this about pensions,, isnt this a car furum???
Now you mention it i went with a hooker last week, but realy i should have bought some shares

Think you'll find those wheels are from a "petter solberg ltd ed" not a WR1
WR1's come in ppf7 18" in pewter

Paid over the odds in YOUR opinion
The "Tacky mesh" as you put it is the same "Tacky mesh" that now sits on the front end of hundreds of STI's who's owners must have thought it looked nice enough on the WR1 to go out & buy it for their cars
Taking the mick out of ice blue when you have boring white
& i see you went out & bought a set of the WR1 cast of wheels for it to
Job done (as you put it)

Most WR1's are selling at about the 19-20K mark,(No I would not sale mine for this price) high milage a little lower. An 04 UK STI low milage can be picked up for 14k...Friend just bought one at this price. So work it out for yourself. Who had the better deal WR1 owners or STI owners.
I have seen one as low as £16,995,and although it had done about 45k,it does go to show that the bubble may be bursting slightly.
