Does make me laugh about the whole drum up support for these restaurants - the fact that Ramsay will be there isnt the real reason the place is rammed and full of wags lol

As I said to my old man, Im sure Ramsay would succeed at whatever he put his mind to. He just has a passion and eye for detail. People moan that he speaks down to them - if he starts being nice as pie then it just doesnt hit home properly.

What amzes me is that these people ask GR in, thousands in debt with no customers and then get upset when he tells them that the food / service is **** and that's why. They all seem to expect to be told their cooking is excellent and it's just the locals not appreciating it

...because the restaurants/owners are specially chosen to be like that so it makes good telly. See Property Ladder etc

Good telly though....

Id be interested to see how many people ask for their restaurant to be on the show. Consultation and association with the most famous chef in the world for zero cost.

Yep, found it thanks. Digiguide had it wrong, but the EPG on my PVR was correct and showed this episode as on tonight.

I would imagine (and hope) it was Hells Kitchen as IMHO thats by far the weaker of the 3 shows.
