agree with lightning101, surely a sport is a competition and sailing around the world albeit a great achievement is not a sporting event just some incredibly brave/stupid idea that someone had the ***** (well not in this case) to do

I think that Philips bird who won it thought that the whole thing was "amazing" with "amazing people" that were "amazing".

Best of a bad bunch. Let's face it, British sporting performances this year have been crap by and large. I couldn't have told you what Zara Phillips had done for all the tea in China, as per 95% of the population.
