So whats your view on white Muslims, British people who have converted to Islam? Where should they go?
I know what strong family roots are Gatty, please don't patronise me.
So many of my English friends have no idea about their famillies past two generations, mainly because of the changes of the Wars, they tell me.

not patronising you just telling you how it is.
i wouldent expect to walk into say pakistan and make demands and turn round and say "i understand all your cultures , traditions etc.." if my roots were only 3 generations deep.

To be completely honest Gatty I wasn't even born here but can confidently say I understand the culture, tradition and way of life.

I would say that Islam has followed Christianities example in this matter.

So if I am white, Christian, born in Britain, can trace my ancestors back hundreds of years and they are all British...what if I decide that I would like to convert to Islam and become Muslim, am I no longer British?
