Frayz - i liked your pic- hopefully you dont mind me hi-jacking your picture but i think to make the car even more of a focal point you can blur the background too and crop out some of the unneccessary scenery.
I did one of a beemer after trax last year ( o6 not 05 - wow confusing ) and this was my result.

graphics tablets are a massive help with PS
I use one at work at times.
Some of the work on here is amazing, all I can say is that some people have far too much spare time on theire hands
here's a couple I did
Photoshop is also good to do simple animations when combined with ImageReady
Just a simple frame by frame of the same layer (bonnet) with the opacity reduced from 100% to 0%

hey - google image search - yes it is wrong though lol.I agree and i'm ashamed of it. ( i would laugh though if i saw it on a billboard especially as the punto driver went by and double taked it.

Image ready is great for small animated and static electronic banners or signature strips (some forums allow each memmber to have there own signature strip which is visible under each post).
