love it.
Its a gradual motion blur (horrizontal) created in photoshop layer by layer with increasing motion blur and then put together in a sequence using image ready.

Let me know if you have any probs

This stuff is absolutely outstanding. I've got photoshop and imageready cs2, but I've absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Really must visit some tutorial sites.

Its worth doing HEPY - i dont religiously use photoshop as i dont have the time but 5 min here and there and it does begin to fall together slightly - I'm still off the standard of many of these too though...

Here are a couple from a photoshoot that i did yesterday afternoon....

- Quite like this one of the gauge pod with the gauges gradually blurring out as well as only the one showing the colour. (click on the pics to see full size)

Here's one I made. It's an Cadillac STS with M-tech bodykit from a 5-series BMW and some other modifications.

Maybe you're getting ahead of yourself with the tutorials

learn the basics - what tools you have available, what they do. Layers are the biggest asset, once you know the basic layout of PS and whats capable then you can begin to take on more adventurous stuff.

practice makes perfect

I've been a Graphic Designer for nearly 10 years now and i still think Photoshop is amazing.

The trick with Photoshop really is to know what you want as a finished image and depending on what kind of style you're after, I would say that subtle is best.
