Ellen: What are you looking at?
Clark: Oh, the silent majesty of a winter's morn... the clean, cool chill of the holiday air... an ******* in his bathrobe, emptying a chemical toilet into my sewer...
[Eddie, in the driveway, is draining the RV's toilet]
Eddie: ****ter was full.
Clark: Ah, yeah. You checked our ****ters, honey?
Ellen: Clark, please. He doesn't know any better.
Clark: He oughta know it's illegal. That's a storm sewer. If it fills with gas, I pity the person who lights a match within ten yards of it.

I cant wait, the kids are allowed to stay up and watch it, thats one of the perks of kid ownership, showing them your favourite films and music, middle kid was singing a selection of Gorillaz tracks before !

You don't need to own them to influence 'em. Thanks to copious overnight visits, my 5 year old niece has been listening to Miles Davis, Oscar Peterson, Dizzy Gillespie, etc, since she was about 10 weeks old
She also knows the difference between a Liverpool shirt and the lesser red ones, and she can tell a Mercedes Benz from an ordinary car

She's still a bit young for 'proper' films yet, although Shrek, Toy Story & the Incredibles are appreciated, but give it a couple of years and she'll be fully aware of what decent comedy is

Possibly the most loved movie ever made .

It is the quintessential Christmas movie .

Red Dwarf makes reference to it - I think there is an episode where they actually visit Bedford Falls - the fictitious town where the movie is set.
