Ok, someone want to tell me what a DV would do for me (modded MY94 WRX Wagon - HKS induction kit, and at some point in the future a downpipe which means it should be fully decatted!)

one comment on the NAM 'problems' maybe a new thread for this would have been appropriate, rather than putting it on here. but then what do I know

Markus, a dump valve will do nothing for you unless your standard dumpvalve is leaking in which cases it will enable you to hold more boost without it being blown open.

Angry

rip is probably the word

Just hope you have a nice experience mate...

They may make a whooshy noise - but then the one I saw was poorly designed and leaked... adn required extensive mods.. you pays your money.... you have been warned

*sigh*

Can you not just shut up for ten minutes Steve?

I seriously doubt that NAM would sell dodgy/leaking products..... the APS is one of the more expensive dumpvalves, a high quality product.

We all know that you have had a bad experience with NAM, you have made everyone fully aware about how upset you are. Lets just leave it at that now, leave the childish little comments in the school playground.

Adam,
thanks for that, think mine is ok.

Poc,
I know one would be nice, but I think that I'll go for the AP four pots and downpipe first, cos that's what I've promised myself. but you never know, i might change my mind, it has been known!

as for this slagging tennis match, why's no moderator closed/deleted the thread? seems that if people slag of a person, or another company, in same way then the thread goes? I know craig asked it not to be closed, so could this be the reason (me dumbass you see! )

it is good to see both sides of the story, and I'm NOT taking sides, cos I've never use NAM, so in no way can I comment on any problems.

Also worth noting that the APS dump valve was the one being used on Andy Tangs car which had the highest power figures at the recent no excuses RR day at PE which a certain someone was interested in purchasing so they can't all be that bad (Imagine if they do leak, Andy's bhp figures would have been even higher..... )

Also several people i know, respect and regard as friends use APS dump valves........

Poc - or is that Pri*k?

So like, your the expert, and you've spent in excess of £2k like me then?

Dont see why I should'nt comment as its NAM related - just pointing out the fact that I'm displeased

So they would'nt sell dodgy products??? - like, hyu know??

Ok so some work... some dont. they are expensive but there not deemed to be the best on the market!

Damn - I'm late for school - dumn f*ck

pete,

I dont follow the "imagine if they do leak, andy's figures would be even higher! " comment.

Should that have been a rather than a ?

You do amuse me Steve.

I am no expert - you are right, however, I do pay attention to the mods other people use, and the results they get. I know of at least two 'high power' UK cars that are running APS DVs - they have no complaints about build quality or performace.

I will put this little 'tanturm' you are throwing down to a bad experience.

As I said before, you will get nowhere by calling me names.
