How old is this S40? Can't you swap it for an Audi of some sort of description? At least then the constant response of "what do you drive?" back at you will warrant a proper answer!
Then again, if you do get one, you might change your name to BMWLover, after finally seeing the light

I'm not a fan of the new shape, but I say that with each incarnation... they are "growers". Can't argue with the engines in the 335i and 335 / 535d though. Superb.

Not necessarily, the traction control system plays a huge role hence the fezza doing ****e. Its too intrusive to allow the driver to set fast lap times, whilst the porsche one is near perfect as it allows alot of play before cutting in hence the 997 GT3 beating the RS4. Its the same system as that of the CGT.

Indeed
You start by saying that joe public doesn't care about how good a car is dynamically and then go on to quote Audis getting awards voted for by the people.
Presumably the same people who don't give a rats *** about cornering, chassis dynamics, steering feel, etc, etc, etc.
RS4 "most beautiful car in the world"
Either something was lost in translation, or the Germans have some serious eyesight issues.

No, it says plenty of Australians who bothered there ***** to vote liked Audi's. Not sure how many Aussies you know, but the ones I know who aren't very much of the big V8's rule school of thought are either women or gay.
This is a car based BBS, but as you yourself has so often demonstrated, there are plenty of people on here who don't now a big end from their bell end

RS4/TT hardly makes a difference

TT = 2 door coupe
Big difference
lol I cant stand those "V8 Lovers". They think a V8 is a answer to everything. Atleast the germans make quality V8's but the yanks and ozzies make big lazy brash POS engines.

I actually own an Audi myself (8L A3 TDI). It is a nice car, but its not the be all and end all. Just look on the Audi forums, the same faults coming up on so many models, just too many common faults !
