So how many Iraqis have you met then, Mr Engers? Enough to form a meaningful opinion? How about other Arabs? Have you ever been to the Middle East at all? Even on a school trip?

Or do you get all your information on the realities of human nature and the issues prevalent in the Gulf from the tabloids?

Yup!

Is this an application of the old scoobynet gambit? A last ditch attempt to win an argument, infer your opponent is a school kid!

What tabloid is it that says most of the middle east are murderous scum?

I'll have to get a subscription!

No, I wasn't suggesting you were a schoolchild, though if the cap fits... I was wondering if you'd been to the Middle East at all. People go on school trips, you know, as well as when they're adults. You didn't reply. I don't need any last ditch attempts to win here - you lost as soon as you resorted to cheap insults and puerile comments.

I think you'll find that most of the redtops have roughly the same informed view of the world, so take your pick. Though I suspect The Sun is probably going to hit the spot best for you. The crossword should be doable, too...

How many Iraqi's do you have to meet to form an opinion? Let me see now.... how many Saddam Husseins does Leslie need to meet to form an opinion? And how many visits to the hell hole?.... None I would venture to suggest.

However, being a thorough and responsible investigator I have gone a stage further than required and met one whole Iraqi. He wanted to murder, I could see it in his shifty eyes.

Now lets see your qualifications on the table. Oh and lay it on thick, as if you need to be told!

I've worked in the Middle East, as a civilian consultant, on peacekeeping duties with the UN and doing other stuff for HMG.

I've visited places I haven't been working as well, out of interest.

Oh, and I'm married to a christian Iraqi, so I've met quite a few of them...

I can lay it on thicker if you like, but these are just the basic facts.

Actually I don't think I need to. I'll just stay with the facts.

Now run along...

So I was right the first time, you are a biased sympathiser. You are a married to an Iraqi (who I note you felt you had to qualify as Christian ) and can therefore never be objective.

Biased sympathiser. Gosh, how insightful. How cutting. How pathetic.

Actually that was your second post. The first was equally stupid and about as far removed from the truth. But then, truth, facts and basic common sense seem to be beyond you anyway.

SB

PS It's whom and the reason I said she was christian is so you didn't figure I was a muslim and immediately use it as justification for your other crap because I must be biased...

I would say that my opinion of SH is pretty clear and there are not many who would disagree with me since so much about his actions and character have been publicised by reliable sources.

The average Iraqi is actually a reasonably peaceful chap as I know from personal experience but the violence is down to fanatics with a personal cause which is not necessarily desired by the others.

I think you are scratching for an answer to what has been said about your attitude Mr Engers!
