Why can the sellers from the USA offer Playstation 3's to the UK then ?
I know you can 'check' a box about being willing to post worldwide, but is this fair that only the Americans can offer these for sale ??
I just checked, and there are NO UK auctions, and 21 US auctions ....... VERY VERY UNFAIR !!!!!

eBay and pp are not interested when there are problmes and, quite frankly they do not derserve the success they are enjoying.
I have been using both successfully for over 2 years until the problem - because of their crappy response to the problem I'll never use them again
Axe ground.
AF.

The very fact you can't contact Ebay support (if there is any) shows a total lack of respect or feeling for what its customers have to deal with.
Everybody either has themselves or knows someone who has been ripped off on ebay and the general rule of thumb is that nothing gets done about it. Paypal is owned by ebay, so you are basically emailing the same people.
The major flaw lies in the postage system, how can anyone prove without doubt they have or haven't recieved or sent an item. Royal Mail/TNT/Parcel Force etc are seperate companies why should they work with Ebay to cut fraud ?
In my eyes a huge corporation like Microsoft or Google etc could instantly create an auction site with good customer support and wipe Ebay off the map.

Sold an item back in november, buyer leaves positive feedback. He complains 6 weeks later that this item is not what he wants now ive just found out he has had a full refund from paypal and is refusing to return the item
What a ******* joke ebay has become tried ringing the complaints number only to be stuck on hold for 30 minutes, and all I get back from their e mails are ****ty automated responses.

My comments were more aimed at the fact that greed tw@ts trying to cash in on selling the PS3's on ebay fell on their **** when they refused to allow such an auction. Whoever had words and the reasoning behind their decision doesn't interest me. Saying that whilst there are idiots willing to pay £600.00 over the odds for a product that will be made available within a matter of a few months there will always be a market.

How the hell could know/expect/understand that pp still had the power to take back this money? by the time they did the wii was sent and he was bggered and now nobody will help - how can that be fair ffs.
I agree that MS or Google could easily replace eBay technology and service wise. The problem is that eBay is so far ahead and so lucrative that there is not much room for any other players.
