Right, I have spoken with Matt today he is going to put a package together for us and mail me the details, once I have this info i'll post it up.
Some peeps have already contacted him for pricing etc which he has/will reply to.
Does anyone have acess to a work shop that he could use to carry out the detailing work for those that cannot /will not travel?
If anyone does please can you contact me.
Thanks.

Speaking to him a machine polish can be around 8 hrs work so if your having the full treatment it could run into 2 day's.
He will travel down if we can get enough work for him to make it worth while and if we can find a workshop, so I would think 4-5 cars needed for this which will be approx a weeks work.

Ok gents dont want to hijack this thread but I`ve been thinking of getting my MY99 done and have found this chap in Cardiff via this link on Piston Heads.
PH: Vehicle detailing - 56kers go make a cup of tea!
His price seems to be good as well
Arranged for him to do it first week in Feb (car needs new brakes first) So could post Pre and post photos if it helps.
Regards
Mark

Right guys this package has been offered to us based on the assumption of 5 cars being done. Mon - Fri.
Milf hunter has kindly agreed to Matt using his work shop for the work to be carried out, THANKYOU
No date has been set as yet, we will sort this out once we have 5 committed .
All prices include his travell and hotel costs for the week with no extra to pay.
We have been given roughly a 25% discount on his usual price as he is keen to build relationships and contacts with us.
He can offer a paint restoration program for the sum of £200 per car. This will include the following
comprehensive bodywash with wheels, arches and door jambs cleaned
Wheels cleansed using gentle cleaner to safely restore appearance
Paintwork de-contamination process to remove foregin matter and embedded contaminants leaving the paint with a smooth glassy appearence
Vehicle dried by hand using specialised microfibre drying towels
Paintwork integrity measured on all panels including all forms of substrate - aluminium, steel, GRP, Carbon fibre and PU
Implementation of paintwork correction program
Paint then sealed to preserve polished and perfected shine
Paint then enhanced with a high grde Carnauba wax or durable synthetic application. I can use owners personal wax if so required.
Extaneous items cleansed and dressed including plastics, chrome, glass and mirrors
However the final stage will be left out at this meeting due to time constraints to ensure each car is completed in a day - sometimes things can run over.
He will also be happy to allow some participation from the owner also to act as a guide and introduction to complete car care and maintenance - He feels this will be beneficial and allow the owner get a greater understanding.
Another option is that if the owner wished to travel to him then the full package can be offered including the final dressings left out of the initail package for £180.00
I feel it is impotant to inform you of how much other professional outfits can charge - they start at 500+
If anyone wants any other work done eg engine bay, interior, then its best to contact Matt himself, i'll ask him to post up a contact number for you.
I will start the ball rolling, only another 4 needed to get this going.

If we get over 5 I don't mind waiting a while as I would prefer April if possible as I'm having some paint work on the car in March. If needs must I'll travel up... hope that's ok to mention Kev as don't want to inconveiniance anyone.
But I certainly want mine done

Hi guys!
sorry Ive not posted much of late - been mad busy. I hopr the above package sounds appealing to you all.
I just wanted to highlight a comment kev made about the price and also try and give you an insight as to what you will get as a benefit.
Firstly there are quite a few 'detailers' cropping up as the term and associated benefits are becoming quite well known now. Sadly there is a little bit of blurring in the difference in detailing and valeting as a lot of people are buying a porter cable and doing quick £100 details including a wash etc.
The PC is a great little tool for removing light swirling - and thats about it really and although the results look great on a digital photo the remaining marks are all too visible in direct sunlight and artificial lighting. I just want to try and show you guys that what i will provide you with is a comprehensive paint correction program which will rid paintwork of the remaining defects that a PC will leave. It has to be said however I cannot work miracles and deep scratches will remain - however the severity will be greatly reduced.
Another point I would like to convey is that the utmost care is taken in the correction program and the use of PTG's for metal and composites will be used to ensure that the car is not 'over corrected' - this is a common mistake made when the only concern is to remove the defect at all costs.
I have worked on some very expensive cars costing more than the worth of my house- however no matter what the car the same respect and enthusiasm will be shown to all.
So if you are interested then sign up as i am looking forward to getting to wales and meeting you all.
Heres my mobile if anyone wants a natter and to ask a few questions between 0800 - 2300 hrs please. 07881934788
Heres a pic of a nice reflective job I finished recently - in silver wich is notoriously difficult to acheive a great relective shot.

Kind regards
Matt
