The core theme (good vs evil) is nothing special but the way it is told accross several generations and the setting (i.e. a galaxy far away, etc) really captures the mind IMHO.
What do you guys think is the best story of all time (doesn't necessarily have to be a movie).

Not like the Godfather then..........
Michael is Anakin, innocent to evil, to redemption, and it takes place all over America and Sicily.
I really like Star Wars, but one thing it isn't is original!!!!
