Just for info I do have a few degrees but only one masters

catalunya..... sorry but I don't play golf. when I was a lad in the 70's I used to go to the golf course but this was to nick golf ***** to sell on later...ahh

as to private hospitals having double the work rate, thats because they only do the simple stuff. Les Dawson died in a private hospital in Manchester cos they didn't have much kit but a good range of coffee machines and deep pile carpets.. If I ever have have heart attack point me to the nearest NHS cardilogy unit

And did those memories tend to repeat on you?!

Been there a couple of times for various mishaps. Always been fixed pretty well.

Lost count of the number of times I went .... LOL

Bit of an altzheimers moment (like the spelling) but 1985 rings a bell, it was the year before Bob Geldorf and the Band Aid thing !!

Where did the NHS thread go

Bob Geldorf? Is he related to Bob Geldof?

And was that Alzheimers you meant (without the "t")?

All this stuff about genius Consultants is just hot air I reckon...!

Only joking!

Blimey I hated spelling at school !!

I blame the state school I went to (Priory Road in Hull).....when I was born there was this thing called a "baby Boom" and in a class of 40 kids if you could drink your 1/3 pint of milk without it being nicked by a bigger kid you were winning

I went to the RGS in Guildford where spelling was considered a bit too important.
As well as the art of pedantry!

Luckily I entered a world where spelling isn't mandatory LOL Here..

PhD (V.U.Manc) MSC (V.U. Manc) BDS (U.Lond) LDS RCS (Eng) MRD RCS (Edin) FDS RCS (Edin)

When I'm in power, I will abolish the NHS- It's a massive money pit.

Wonder what the workrate and cost per patient comparison between American hospitals with ours is? Aren't the majority of hospitals privately funded with only a 'basic' health service for the underclass?
