Probably the younger generation preferring more of an action movie than a relatively 'boring' film

either that or it scares them too much

still its a brilliant film built on the suspense

This is a good question to be asking if you go speed-dating. You can tell a lot about the character from the film lists and whether you would get along with that person. For example, sci-fi geeks ...... not for me thanks

I'm guessing that the number 10. listing was supposed to be Running Scared! Good film that!

I always thought Aliens was 'Rambo in Space' whereas Alien is a class apart - Aliens is still good film nonetheless

With the amount of quotable cheese, Aliens is more like Top Gun in space. Cracking film!

1,2 & 4 are cracking good films.
Aliens (directors cut) just has the edge over the first one for me. I saw Alien in the cinema when it was first released and it scared the poo put of me!

Aliens, the second film is a brilliant, well directed, quailty cast, great SFX (for the time) rip-roaring si-fi action action film i never tire of watching, in fact may well do so today, the directors cut of course.

The third film was just not up to it at all.

Agreed, although I do like the 3rd film, but the original story / screen play was much better

I was too young at the time to see it at the pictures, so we watched it on a small projector screen at the local cricket club, cost us 10p each at the time I think

back then no surround sound or dolby digital etc

Nice to watch the DVD after all these years, all the lights off, yep one of the only films that is scary, and depsite its age it doesnt look out of place now amongst todays films
