how easy is it for your dealer to see if you've remapped the ECU?

Are there any plans to have an offer like this on the 2.0 litre STI PPP - was going to order one for my car but if there is the chance of an discounted PPP I think I will wait - best I could get was £1895.

What some people don't realise is that dealers don't pay for warranty work, they actually make money on warranty work........so why would they look for reasons to turn it away ? .....unless it was a really obvious case of unsuitable parts fitted that would be observed by any claim assessor.
