you have lost all sight of being british i suppose you would welcome that shari law as all "real" muslims would.
look at the middle east they strive to be totally islamic .........there chomping away through africa guzzaling away at indonisia now feasting on europe .
We as native Brits need identity like we used to have before the asian invasion, or would you like to see the whole nation walking round wearing curtains and great big silly beards?

We need to put the GREAT back into britiain.
There are TWO types of people that are the cause of the country's downfall.
People like gatty and people not trying to assimilate at all (and those, usually white, council workers trying to appease them at all costs).
British is about holding the rational middle ground. A pleasantly thought out middle way (which is what has ALWAYS happened and is what made britain) that holds for the majority, looks after all where possible and disregards the extreme warring factions (e.g. the loony muslims and the likes of gatty)

I actually agree that we should have multi-faith churches, in hospitals or wherever. Seems to work at airports. Should encourage integration and understanding. Good thing.
And if you want a same-sex doctor, you can have one. Doesn't seem like a specifically Muslim request to me. Likewise, if you don't eat pork, or take alcohol, some simple advice and discretion doesn't seem too difficult and again, not exclusively Muslim.
The Ramadan thing is a red herring. There is plenty of scope for people to abstain from fasting, or modify their observance according to circumstances.
Male circumcision seems like a personal choice, again not exclusively Muslim.
Storm in a tea-cup IMHO.

We were involved in the construction of a Hospital. All of a sudden there was uproar from the local Muslim community. Why was there no Mosque in the Hospital?
They had to convert what would have been a Ward catering for sick people, into a bl00dy Mosque.

Storm in a teacup, but might be worth suggesting that if the Muslim comminity wan't their own breakaway NHS that they may want to pay for it themselves, perhaps out of the separate cash economy they use to avoid paying any tax, a bit like the one that builders use and the one I would love to use but cannot as I am a PAYE slave to pay for stuff like the aforementioned, in fact they could work with the builders to build the Islamic hospitals !

they weren't the first faft of immigrants, not by a long shot. However they were the 1st raft of immigration of distinctly different colour, this tells us something! (immigration ok on the whole if whites well people wouldn't notice white immigrants at first glance so there was no obvious target for people's insecurities.
