Sensitive! :O No-one on here's sensitive, we've just all watched Trisha etc. and know what buttons to push in order to get a sh*g

Only way you'll get money back on a P1 is to buy a broken one, get your dad to fix it and sell it as a runner. Even that's not a certain bet.

my post never said i wanted advice on making anyone jealous, its a bit of fun and the point of bothering is i get to drive a car i cant afford for a bit, it said i wanted info on a good scooby to buy, i never said i wanted to discuss relationship issues i said i wanted info on the differences therfore i expected posts on Scoobys not on relationships, making people jealous good ways to get back at people, ive got no reason to make him jealous hes actually a good mate, im buying it for a laugh hence me clearly stating no gender democracy!! jesus!

Hmmm mistake if you really can't afford it. All these things cost a fair wedge to run and insure and there never is a guarantee you'll get your cash back. If you can't afford it don't buy it - especially with interest rates shooting up.

Get something cheaper if you do want a new motor and have a bit left over for running costs. Plenty of good Jap motors out there with a lot of street cred. An older 200sx would go down well with those who know drift cars for example and they don't cost a fotune.

It depends on what you mean by better.

Better to me would be having a faster car so not only did you pull away and he couldn't do anything about it but then he'd be beaten by a girl.....

I'd buy a cheaper one....correction, a cheaper faster one and enjoy it all.....

Bit harsh lads although have to say not the best motivation for getting a car. Any chance you could hire something for a day and really stick it to everyone? You could have a Aston Martin or something for a weekend and then you don't have to worry about selling it. You seem to have some cash about so i'd go for that.

BTW - The P1 has lots of little STI badges in it - like on the Speedo/rev counter - hence why you might have thought it was an STI.... (they are based on a version 5 STI.... but had a few changes to them to make them a UK special edition. The Version 5 is probably a better car as you get more toys in it and cheaper to buy too).

I put a thread up maybe a year or so ago re P1s - so search for my user initials if you like - also put the same thread on the P1 web owners club forum - might have been a couple of years ago actually.

Am finding it hard to resist joining in with the majority opinion here BTW - But as I am such a polite and respectable young man, I shall simply wish you luck with the car purchase....

half of the replies are from people who actually didnt read the origional post, however being the respectable young man that you are i am sure that your opinion will be of that if i was a man saying i wanted to buy a car could i have some info it would be more than shared, i never said i didnt want one or intend on keeping it a little while that was pesonal presuption however i said i wasnt keeping it for long so that i didnt get any investment advice, however quite a few people have emailed off here with company info and ive found one. its a shame like most of the other sites its full of people that no bugger all but an opinion on everything!

Why should we all have such a harsh opinion of someone we dont even know
At the end of the day its up to the buyer to have any reason they fookin want to buy a car , even if its for just one week or ten bloody years ,
